Naira Marley risks seven years in prison –EFCC

Naira marley popularly known as Azeez Fashola was arrested last Friday after his hit song am i a yahoo boy featuring Zlatan who has been released from the grips of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision. He has 11 charges against him connecting him to online fraud and credit card fraud.
   According to EFCC he faces 7 years inprisonment with a bail of N5,000,000,00. If found guilty against going against section 33 which states that Any person who uses: a counterfeit access device; an unauthorised access device; an access device issued to another person; resulting in a loss or gain of the affected party.

The charges with suit number FHC/L/178C/19 were filed before a Lagos State High Court.
Some of the credit cards, according to the EFCC, bore the names – Nicole Louise Malyon, and Timea Fedorne Tatar.
The alleged crimes were in contravention of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act and the Cyber Crimes Act.
