Judge remands Naira Marley in prison

Naira Marley by his stage or Azeez fashola on his hearing yesterday has been remanded in prison by
Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court of Lagos on his array of 11 counts bordering on credit fraud.

 Naira Marley pleaded not guilty on the charges raised against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the judge adjourned till May 30 to take the bail application by the defense counsel Taiwo Oreagba on behalf of her client.

Following the judges order he was led out into the holding cell by policemen with EFCC officials, all this was done in the presence of his relatives like his mother who was saddened by the order, she was later allowed to see her son in the holding cell.

 He was convicted of the crime with two other suspects named Raze and Yad isril who are still at large.
